  .1 所有的旅客公共处所和走廊应设有备用电照明设备,在所有其他电源发生故障和在任何倾侧条件下,至少应能维持照明3h。所提供的照明应能照到逃生设施的周围。备用照明的电源应由置于照明设备内部的蓄电池组成,该蓄电池在可行时能从应急配电板连续充电。或者,也可用其他的照明装置替代,但是,该装置至少已被主管机关认可为有效的。该备用照明设备的故障应能使人员立即发现。置于其中的蓄电池应定期更换,间隔期应考虑到蓄电池在使用中处的环境条件而规定的使用寿命。和
  .2 在每一船员处所的走廊、娱乐场所和通常有人在的每一工作处所,除非设有.1款所要求的应急照明,否则均应配备可携式充电电池灯。

(1) chapter II-1, regulation 23-2

The following new regulation 23-2 is added after existing regulation
23: "Regulation 23-2 Integrity of the hull and superstructure, damage
prevention and control

(This regulation applies to all passenger ships with ro/ro cargo
spaces or special category spaces as defined in regulation II-2/3, except
that for ships constructed before 22 October 1989, paragraph 2 shall apply
not later than 22 October 1992)

1. Indicators shall be provided on the navigating bridge for all shell
doors, loading doors and other closing appliances which, if left open ornot properly secured could, in the opinion of the Administration, lead to
major flooding of a special category space or ro/ro cargo space. The
